Lillidale Animal Health at Singapore Specials Day
Singapore Specials Day 2025 brought Bishan-AMK Park to life on Saturday, 16 August, with a joyous celebration of love, resilience, and inclusivity. From 10am to 6pm, the park was abuzz with energy as families, animal lovers, and their four-legged companions came together for a day dedicated to our beloved Singapore Specials and the strong community that supports them.
This year’s event was made even more memorable with the presence of Minister of State, Mr Alvin Tan, and home-grown celebrity, Miss Vernetta Lopez, who both joined the celebrations for the very first time. Their heartfelt support highlighted the importance of giving our local dogs the recognition, care, and affection they so richly deserve.
The park was brimming with vibrant activities that kept spirits high throughout the day. Visitors enjoyed fun games, live demonstrations, shopping stalls, and the chance to meet many adorable, adoptable dogs from six different animal welfare groups. More than 20 vendors and nine welfare organisations took part, showcasing their passion for animal welfare and their dedication to building a brighter future for pets in Singapore.
One of the true highlights of the day was seeing the incredible resilience and determination of the Singapore Specials. Many of these dogs, having overcome hardship, stood proudly as living testaments of hope. Their stories moved attendees and inspired many to consider adoption, reinforcing the very heart of Singapore Specials Day: to celebrate, support, and uplift these often-overlooked companions.
Among the vendors, Lillidale was delighted to participate in this year’s celebration. Our stall at Bishan-AMK Park welcomed countless dogs and their pawrents, many of whom stopped by to sample our popular meatballs and take advantage of our SG60 offers on meals and treats. It was a joy to see so many tails wagging with excitement and to connect with a community of animal lovers who share our passion for keeping pets happy and healthy.
For Lillidale, being part of Singapore Specials Day was more than just an opportunity to showcase our products. It was about joining a wider movement—one that celebrates inclusivity, raises awareness, and strengthens the bond between people, pets, and shelters. We left the event inspired and grateful to have contributed to such a meaningful day.
